Gene Smith Studio, a 3rd generation studio, has been providing customers with their photographic needs for more than 70 years. Located in the Rio Grande Valley in a small town, Raymondville has been our "home base" throughout the many years. Even though we are based in Raymondville, we travel all over the state on various photographic assignments.

Our head photographer, Clifton Smith, has a B.S. degree in photography from Sam Houston State University and is recognized as a "certified photographer" by the professional photographers of America. He is constantly continuing his education by attending various photography schools and workshops.

We excel in all types of photography; portraits, weddings, school, and commercial, however, we are famous for our wedding and portrait photography, having won several awards for our work.
